The SmartRod combines a laser receiver and grade rod into one easy to use product that provides the contractor with a truly unique tool to increase leveling accuracy and effectiveness on the job site. The SmartRod picks up the laser beam fast with a larger 6.5” (16cm) capture window and linear technology, and provides the user with readings up to 3 to 4 times faster than conventional methods.Agatec SmartRod All-in-one:laser receiver, grade rod,digital measuring tape.
The digital readout means that there is no need to interpret graduations on the grade rod thereby reducing error caused by misreading the level rod.
Agatec SmartRod:Automatically calculates cut-and-fill. The SmartRod automatically calculates cut-and-fills and digitally displays them on the large LCD, again reducing misreads and miscalculations on the site. The SmartRod also provides the user with a Tape Measure Mode that allows the user to measure interior heights or widths without a laser or tape measuring device. The SmartRod utilizes three “AA” batteries in the receiver for up to 3000 measurement and three additional “AA” batteries will power the control panel for up to 60 hours of intermittent use. The SmartRod extends from 3.2’(1m) to 13.2’ (4m) and works in any height in between, measuring in Feet/8ths, Feet/10ths and Metric. The SmartRod’s accuracy rating is 3/32”, and has a working range dependent on the working range of the red beam or infra-red beam rotary laser level. The SmartRod is not designed to be used with green beam or pulsing beam lasers.Agatec SmartRod: Makes work quicker and easier.

standard`detector (16.5 cm vs. 6 cm). Linear Receiving Technology (LRT):
the beam only has to touch some part of the window; it does not need to be in the
center.
