The Q150 Line Boring System

The American Machine Tools portable line boring system comes with improved drill base adapter is the most economical equipment to bore holes round and concentric. It is made from the highest quality components. The portable line boring equipment is intended for repairing holes in heavy construction equipment such as cranes, backhoes, endloaders, excavators and tractors. Powered by a magnetic drill with a 3/4" or larger drill chuck, there is no job too big to tackle. The recommended magnetic drill is a Milwaukee 4206-01 and is available for order below. All come with a one year warranty against defects in American craftsmanship.

1.50" diameter X 36" long boring bar- made from highest quality chrome induction hardened and precision ground 100,000 PSI tensile strength alloy steel, resists burrs and scoring to still fit the bearings use after use.
Two self-aligning Bearings- the I.D. of the bearings have a perfect fit between bar and bearings, which insures holes can be bored to near zero TIR runout.
Drill Adapter with built-in bearing- important safety device to hold magnetic drill in case of power failure. Also designed to mount the BOA-308-S1 bore welder.
Two bearing plates and 4 Standoffs- 3/4" thick for easy weld on and vibration free machining.
Five Carbide Cutting Tools- held in the boring shaft by heavy set screws
Two Centering Cones- for quick concentric alignment of the boring bar and bearings in larger holes.
Two Centering Sleeves- for quick concentric alignment of the boring bar and bearings in smaller holes.
An Electronic Caliper- measures 0" to 6" with digital readout to .001"in/mm.
A wood case with dolly wheels- includes padlock and two handles.
