Variable 6,000 to 11,000 rpm speed range. Poly-V belt drive for maximum transmision of power to cutterhead with minimum belt slippage. Balanced aluminum ball bearing cutterhead for smooth operation; maintenance-free life. Two-knife cutterhead with jack -screw knife leveling arrangement for easy replacement and adjustment of individual knives. Built-in cutterhead lock to facilitate knife replacement and adjustment. Convenient infeed table raising/lowering control with dual English/Metric scale to facilitate depth of cut adjustment; lock knob securely holds desired setting. Built-in chip chute directs dust and chips away from operator, motor and electricals. Rubber base pads, to minimize operating vibration; dampen noise level.
