- Best-in-class speed range from 250-4,000 RPM giving the slowest low end speed in its class for large turning and fast high end speed for small turnings
- Forward and Reversing function allows the turner to achieve a superior finish. Sanding a turned piece with the grain causes the wood fibers to lay down and remain rough. Sanding a turned piece against the grain will cut the wood fibers smooth.

- With a maximum distance between centers of 42" (with bed extension), the MIDI LATHE turns objects as long as a chair leg or as short as a thimble
