The DD500X Tradesman is the original Drill Doctor® workhorse, and is designed for commercial drill bit sharpening. With the DD 500X Tradesman, you can sharpen your drill bits at either the standard 118° or the high-performance 135° setting. And it can turn your standard drill bits into self-centering split-point bits.
The Drill Dr. DD 500X Tradesman can sharpen bits from 3/32" to 1/2" (2.5mm to 13mm) diameter in about 60 seconds, and includes our patented E-Z Align system and diamond grinding wheel for sharp, precise results.
New "Push to Stop" design on the drill point splitting port will not allow you to over split the bit point.
