Specialty Oil Pressure Tools

Removes oil pressure sending unit on most engines. 3/8" drive socket has a 1 and 1-1/16" hex opening plus recess to accommodate switch. Socket also fits some brake-light switches. Use to remove and replace oil pressure sending units on 1987 through current GM engines including 2.0-, 2.5-, 2.8- and 3.0-L used in Chevy, Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Cadillac cars. Hex opening is 1-3/16". Turn with 1/2" square drive tools or 15/16" wrench. Socket is 4" in length. Will take sending unit of 3-1/4". Caution: Do not use with engine running. Use on all domestic cars and light trucks, as well as most import cars and light trucks. Kit includes 2-1/2" gauge ranging from 0 to 300 psi, 6' neoprene (oil-proof) hose, brass adapters for SAE threads, aluminum adapters for metric threads and an instruction sheet.

Test engine oil pressure at the oil filter on most passenger cars and light trucks. Five different adapters are included for both domestic and imported engines. Gauge is calibrated from 0 to 100 psi.

Use this mechanical gauge with a 1/2" drive tool to install various engineering fasteners that require a specified angle application after a pretorque load has been applied. Tool is calibrated in 5 increments with a rotating pointer. 1/2" male and female square drive and an adjustable holding rod hold the gauge in position during use. Gauge is packaged in a convenient storage pouch. Caution: Do not use with power tools. For intended use only.

Specially designed socket is for removal and replacement of vacuum switches with a 7/8" hex currently found on Ford, GM, Chrysler and some import vehicles.
