Cut through rusted, corroded tailpipe connections by inserting tool between the tailpipe and muffler. Three-bladed cutting edge splits open the outside pipe.

EXHAUST AND TAILPIPE EXPANDERS

Flare, shape and expand tailpipes to ensure a tight fit and prevent exhaust leaks. Turn handle to adjust the expander to the diameter of the pipe. Place on the end of the pipe and drive with a hammer. Remove tool and re-adjust, but do not adjust while tool is in pipe. Repeat hammering until desired shape and size is reached. Replacement part: 2071-72 Fingers. Replacement part: 2071-73 Handle. Replacement part: 2071-75 Spring.

Use tool to cut pipes 3/4 to 3" (19 to 76mm) in diameter. Fifteen blades effectively cut pipe so only a 100 degree rotation is needed for a complete cut. Cutter has a plastisol-dipped handle for comfort. Serviceable tool works in hard-to-reach areas. It will not cut double wall pipes. Keep well oiled. Replacement part: 2031-82 Cutter Chain Assembly.
