Cabinet Makers can easily position the Laserjamb at 34 1/2" for setting base cabinets or 54" for upper cabinets. In order to use the laser for leveling 4" cabinet bases, simply remove the laser from the Laserjamb, place it on the floor, which will project a line at 4 3/4", then, place a 3/4" scrap piece of wood on top of the base and level up your base.

Electricians: The Laserjamb can be used for setting receptacle boxes, switch boxes and wall sconce boxes. It is also effectively used for drilling electrical holes for wiring and home run lines. The laser projects its line and wraps around 2 sides of the stud, making it easy for alignment of any job. Laserjamb takes only about 30 seconds to set up and can be moved from room to room quickly. The laser can also be rotated to the vertical position projecting lines on the wall, ceiling and floor, allowing for positioning of can lights and overhead lighting. Laserjamb will get you professional results with speed and accuracy.

Tile Setters: Laserjamb's ease of adjustment allows you to move the laser beam up for each course of tile. You do not have to spend lengthy amounts of time trying to determine high and low spots, they can be quickly determined without wasting time. Laserjamb is ideal for tile setters who often work in tight, confined areas. It can be positioned in the corner of a bathroom or in the edge of a doorjamb, keeping it out of the way and giving you the added advantage and accuracy of using a laser for establishing level lines.

Siding Installers: Laserjamb can be successfully used outdoors. By jamming the Laserjamb against the eves or overhand of the house, you can start your first course of siding without ever having to measure or chalk a line. The laser can be moved up for each successive course. Often, because of difficult transitions, you need to know where the siding is going to end up or transition. Laserjamb makes this easy to figure out, by projecting lines before the siding goes up.

Wire Shelving: Perhaps no other trade needs a level line quickly established more than wire shelving installers. Laserjamb tests have shown a doubling of productivity with the use of Laserjamb for this trade. One man can layout and drill over 2,000 feet of wire in just over four hours using the Laserjamb. (This would normally take about twelve to sixteen hours.) In addition to speed, you will have the advantage of not marking up walls and needing to touch them up when you are finished. No more pencils, levels, drilling jigs, and re-adjusting wire after installation because the anchors were not put in level.

Laserjamb comes with a 1/4 - 20 thread pattern for mounting lasers. It can also be fitted with an adaptor which changes this to a 5/8 - 11 to fit larger style lasers.
Painters can use Laserjamb for masking level lines, for painting trim borders or multicolor walls.
