SONIN has once again improved the efficiency of distance measuring. Its next generation of electronic distance measuring tools is not only making measuring faster and simpler, but now offers user-friendly targeting ability.
The Laser Targeting Range Finder uses a high-visibility laser to zero in on a target area, while an ultrasonic beam takes a measurement. No more guess work -- for results from up to 60 feet away. It's as easy to use as pointing and pushing a button.

The Laser Targeting Range Finder measures up to 60 feet with the press of a button, offering instant, convenient measurements. It adds, multiplies, subtracts and computes areas or volumes.

In addition to tracking and validating measurement modes, users can now decide if they want to measure from the front or back of the unit. This helps in hard-to-reach areas.

The Laser Targeting Range Finder features seven memory registers for easy storage and recall of measurements or calculations. It allows users to see exactly where they are aiming. When working in other than standard conditions, such as high altitudes, the user can field calibrate the unit to compensate for environmental errors and improve accuracy.

Technical Information

Along with the high visibility laser to reference the target area, this unit uses advanced ultrasonic technology sending out narrow beams of sound waves that "bounce" off flat, solid objects back to the hand-held receiver. Custom electronics and a microprocessor convert elapsed time into a distance measurement and display it on the LCD.
