The A-B-C's of Fall Protection
Fall protection requires three elements:
  • ANCHOR: a safe way to attach to a secure overhead point such as an I-beam
  • BODY WEAR: a full-body harness, and
  • CONNECTOR: something to connect A and B - a lanyard (better if it absorbs the shock of a fall) or a fall limiter that decellerates a falling body automatically
