For those who prefer inside micrometers without interchangeable rods, Starrett offers this series of fixed range inside micrometers. The Nos. 824 and 824M Series can be ordered individually or in sets. All Nos. 824 and 824M Series micrometers feature:

Insulating handles on all sizes minimize possible expansion by heat when hand held
Lock nuts (except Nos. 824AA and 824MAA)
Adjustable contacts on thimble end
Adjustable sleeve for head accuracy
