Micrometer Depth Gages With Half Base

The Micrometer Depth Gage No. 443 Series is exactly like the Starrett No. 445 Series except that it has a half base. The
2" (50 mm) half base permits measuring depths of holes and slots close to shoulders and between obstructions. Rods have individual length adjustment and are 5/32" (4 mm) in diameter.
The purpose of this Starrett micrometer depth gages with half base is to measure the depth of holes, slots, shoulders, and projections quickly and easily to .001" or 0.01 mm. All heads are accurate to
± .0001" or ± 0.002 mm.
Additional Features:
- The combination ratchet and speeder for uniform pressure and quicker adjustment
- Ring-type lock nut for quick and sure locking
- All reading surfaces have a satin chrome finish that resists rust and provides a no-glare background for the sharp lines and figures
- All precision screws are ground and lapped
