The series includes ranges of 0-1" to 5-6" English/Metric and 0-25mm to 125-150mm Metric/English electronic micrometers.

Electronics & Operation of Starrett Electronic Micrometers -3732 Series :
- Movement of the spindle or push of a button will activate the display with no loss of position reading
- Change inch/mm mode with one short push of the IN/mm/SET button
- A sustained push of the IN/mm/SET button will enter the PRESET to install readings at any position
- ZERO/ABS button: Short push of this button will zero the display at any point "incremental mode") and display will read "INC ". A sustained push will return the display to the original (" absolute mode") and display will read "ABS".
