Tool Aid Coil Spring Compressors

Every shop, no matter how small, can do work on the MacPherson Strut assembly found on virtually all modern domestic and imported vehicles. The Tool Aid 62900 "Strutter" can be:

• Used with impact wrench or hand tool.
• Used ON or OFF the car!
• Sells for a fraction of other types.

Each set contains complete instructions and a safety kit. The one piece cold headed bolts are made of chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. The nuts are Grade 5. Do not use on General Motors "A", "C", "J" or "X" Body cars. Not for use on any unusually large MacPherson Strut springs which have a coil outside diameter of over 6" or a wire diameter larger than 5/8".

• Remove, install and compress coil springs that can be reached through the center of the coil.
• Smooth bearing action and finest quality heat treated steel makes for safe, quick compression.
• Single turning action on central shaft. Fit tool inside spring.
• Use with a hand operated ratchet wrench to pull arms closer together. A front end shop must!!!

• The original tool for compressing coil springs on standard and compact vehicles.
• Consists of three hook/bolt assemblies which are applied to the outside of the coil spring.
• Can be used to compress spring into straight or slightly curved configuration as required.
• Allows for easy removal or installation where spring compression cannot be performed from inside the coil.
